Introduzione:

Situato su un posto montano di grande bellezza, nel distretto di Kanto, il circuito giapponese di Twin Ring Motegi possiede un ovale di 2,5 km e una pista classica di una lunghezza di 4,8 km disegnata secondo le norme internazionali. Costruito dalla Honda come laboratorio di prove delle loro differenti produzioni nell'agosto 1997, il circuito di Twin Ring è diventato dal 1999 lo scenario di un Gran Premio del Campionato del Mondo, mentre il tracciato ovale ha permesso di introdurre nel paese le competizioni automobilistiche di ispirazione americana.

Il circuito di Motegi attrae durante l'anno gli amanti del motore, dato che il suo gigantesco recinto ospita il Museo Honda, che esibisce in maniera permanente moto e automobili da competizione di tutte le epoche. Inoltre, questo complesso sportivo si completa con una scuola guida, piste di dirt-trarck e go-kart, hotel, ristorante, negozi e altri servizi che impiegano attualmente 300 persone.
